Father Nation & Sports SMILE

It is an emotional day for me, I miss my Dad! He was the Educator of the lessons I learnt the hard way, he was the curator of the situations that I must live up to in life as I shall come to face them well. The love coming out of respect on how he taught me... how to never rest till you get enough.

We celebrate this to wish the great Papas of the world who sacrifice much to make their children shine. Happy Fathers Day!

The real story behind My Smile - as a teenager I needed to fix my smile, stop guessing it was because of my crooked teeth! I am glad we didn’t have social media in those days because I avoided showing my teeth, Our instagram posers will know that those who make effort to smile never have good pictures to post, its about being naturally captured as possible. So I remember my Dad used to take me to the dentist & when the gruesome process of extractions, RC, capping till retainers was over I came out with a pretty decent gummy SMILE. Just then my Dad said “Now you will get a Girl” haha...

Today also marks the Super Sunday World Cup Cricket match... Father of matches where these 2 Nations are excited & crazy about the Win especially when the Neighbours come to play. India vs Pakistan has always been the main event! The centuries made & the Spirits light up brighter each minute into the game. While we enjoy the sport we are not only playing a world cup game, this is much bigger! It goes to the next level where players, audience, the entire country at large watch together for the Love of the Nation's WIN!

So Now I can SMILE J

Feelings over Facts

We are hypocrites with all the things mixed up when it comes to what we feel & what we show to the world... “sticks & stones can break your bones but words can never hurt you” more than you can imagine they might however roll with those verbal punches!

I shall start with a real story

My Friend - Alias “Sam” has been in a relationship since 7 years, the fact remains that never has it been that Sam didn’t get support from the partner however the reality is that Sam doesn’t have the feeling of excitement in the relationship! Now the fact again that Sam keeps getting all the support may it be emotional or materialistic however Sam feels why the hell do I need to be in this relationship... Now Sam is in a dilemma & keeps dwelling to make their life complicated just not focusing on the rights!

The Fact remains that any relationship which exists has its ups & downs. The basics - how you wish to enjoy the journey is what defines the Feeling, which is how happy you are in that moment...

It is about the sparks you need in the relationship, making effort to keep it alive which has to be from both sides... however it is about the most important thing that at the end of it you smile!

I believe we do things to show the world that we are happy even though we don’t feel the same from inside. We are a different person behind that smile. The world makes us do things which we don’t wish or don’t want however some are strong headed while others are not. The decisions we take are influenced by lot of people around us or the fact that how we wish to be perceived in our social circle or the world at large! It also depends on where you stay because of some reservations or conservative societies don’t allow people to be as they wish! Do what you feel is right, what makes you happy because you will never regret you made a bad choice as you tried...

So don’t be a Hypocrite & pretend what you are not! Go out there & make a decision... Live your life to the fullest everyday!

Uncomplicated

Simple things in life are the most beautiful! How you appreciate them is up to you. I have a rule that I follow which kind of works for my peace of mind, “Uncomplicate the hell out of everything” So in a matter of speaking you just need to be honest to yourself & not care of what is coming next. First thing when you wake up in the morning is the choice which you of course have to make everyday - How do you wish to feel? So usually more often you try to tell yourself… No matter what I will find a reason to smile. However it isn’t that simple because behind that smile is lot of effort, struggle to ensure you have a great one!

The next step is again easy but complicated… If you want to make a change or do something different or new, maybe just do something outrageous that you so wanted is a step you have to take, Now to do that you also need to “not care a damn of what the world thinks” if you do something which is not like you. Haha I am sure you know this is not easy… With all the social circle, social media, family, friends etc what will they think?! Because you find yourself being judged & how will you be perceived from your existing self today, what if I am not accepted or how will I take the rejection… It all comes down to Sweet Failure which if you haven’t tasted then you won’t be able to experience the pleasure of the Victory!

My story of blogging started from the simple fact that I enjoy it & it puts a smile on my face & maybe in future I write a controversial book for everyone to enjoy, I had written something a few years ago after which I felt maybe I have a desire to write & share my thoughts or life experiences. Why not come out of the closet & do something about it! So here I am arjunthestoryteller

It is ok to fail because the one who tries & has the perseverance to make effort always comes closer to success. The guy who never tries also never gets to know if what they want is ever going to be possible. Truth about life is that we make stories about what won’t be possible which are not real because the irony is that we never even tried so how do we know if it is possible or not…! Otherwise it will be as Disappointing as the Game of Thrones Finale which I am sure nobody is able to get over...

When you come back to reality you realise that nothing is more important but to find any stupid reason to Smile.

Noon till Moon

“not all who wander are lost” There is no right time to decide when you want to go search for something, it can be an inspiration you are looking for, it maybe the adventure to get you Restarted, it can be a stupid bucklist or just the break you so needed… The earlier trend was to post who hits 50 countries & now I guess the new competition is to be the world Explorer not leaving even a single country! I liked meeting & talking to travellers from different cultures, made a few friends & all of them had been travelling across the globe... While asking them where all they had been, the common response was around 50 countries to which I usually responded that you've been there.. done that, So whats next? however these guys were modest & said they are far from done... the Nomad wish to cover much more! Being on the road is home & they have fallen in love with the unexplored!

Wanderlust fancies, travel junkies, Bag packers to luxury getaways all crave for one thing & one thing only to Feel FREE! Free from the slaves we have become to the corporate & social obligations... all for making a living & paying our bills! The real love is in finding yourself free like there is nothing to care about no matter what & that there is no tomorrow! That feeling is what releases the stress... relaxes the hell out of you!!! You get a kick out of it

For the Love of Travel the journey of Vacations are all about the never ending water splashing… beautiful swims, Loads of sun burn, sand in your feet, from the time it hits Noon the repeat beers starts flowing with music till dawn! No matter what & how many times that wonderful Noon till Moon feeling hits you like you never experienced it before… rather a guy like me would have a calendar defined for such fun which I can’t live without! It is Super Fresh every time you go for such journeys… Let me share the best part of the trip -

The world event “Full Moon party” @ Ko Pha-ngan (island) is an all night beach party every month on the night of the full moon! This month being the Buddha celebration it so happened to be on a Sunday the day after the original Full Moon night… Tourist from around the world come to experience this Epic! As my good friend said it was Crazzzy!!! Some take hostels & stay at the island, some take a speed boat to reach, People start gathering up at the beach around Mid-night… when you arrive you can see locals painting body color on tourist to show case your likes & fancies, personal buckets with liquor bottles to go wild all night, you keep walking & you will come across this shop with a few old fellas dancing to invite you inside to a beverage that takes you to another zone. This was a different world with some sort of purpose, the beach is full of Million people from around the world dancing to different music, everyone is super high like there is no tomorrow. The experience is mind blowing! Nobody cares & everyone is partying for the love of freedom.

Come and go “my travel journey”

I don’t have much time but I wanna be disciplined to post for i was told you must never promise which you can not keep!

My travel Journey - Today i am in a jungle mountain on an island so to speak... its a getaway, so i have mixed it well with much to enjoy and loads to do! My itinerary is full with things to cover along with spots and destinations which i need to strike off! These lists are exhausting with hours of home work and research. There are different stages of your travel planning- the pre where you discuss with friends, check the net, get information from agents, learn from many sources and make your basic itinerary, similarly when you reach the place you go out and figure out the most interesting things to do and must visits as per the actual local feel and findings... it’s amazing how the process of travelling makes you love it all the more, its a journey that makes you feel fresh and alive. You want to experience new things and this is just the beginning!

I met some amazing people who were full of life and had no reason to be so nice, the love that they show to travellers can't be explained! I admire the energy and enthusiasm they held. 

So as i am a coffee junkie and can’t live without so found the best place to have my daily coffee, i go to this fancy coffee shop which looked good and had nice choices to bite in the menu. While i was liking everything already this big fat guy turns up and tries to help me out, he was witty crazy and naughty which i like in any order... haha so i fell in love with this place and i never missed having my coffee at the same place no matter where i was in that foreign land. For the love of people who make your journey beautiful

Love of Voting on Mother’s Day

I pack my bags while I write this blog, I am on my vacay & might be MIA for the next blog post J

Looking forward to new experiences, new cultures, new people, new sights & all those with crazy memories! I will gather much to have some stories packed up for later…

If wishes were horses then beggars would fly! Fantasies come to light when you do something about it… So I say get excited about your vote, influence others to vote, don’t miss the opportunity & tomorrow you can say that you had a chance to play a small part in the decision to run the country!

It is fortunately Mother’s Day too! So I salute all the Mommy’s out there, You are the educators to the future Leaders!

I wake up to new hopes, dreams that will make a difference to the life we wish to see in the near future. The Leaders we choose & the decisions we make today will land us in the situations we see ourselves for next few years! I wish my Mom, show my gratitude for the relation that has only a single purpose to love! I tell her to get ready & take her along with me to vote...

While I go to the polling booth to caste my vote, there are Patriotic spirits flying in the air with the flags & colourful logos everywhere! The relations that never existed come alive, the neighbours who never met you come together. The shops are closed & everyone is gathered for a single purpose to Vote. I feel proud to go to the booth, get inked (haha never got a tattoo before, anything permanent freaks me out).

40 is the new 30

It is rather cynical however people stay in denial to never realise what actually is good, we homo sapiens are such that we make everything complicated no matter what! We just do things for the heck of it or follow trend setters, isn’t it true that we just want to fit in no matter what... because many are a part of the crowd while others follow, those who are hip set the trend. You will notice that when you see a celebrity or Page 3 promote something “that particular thing takes off” maybe a drink or a place to hangout. I think it is necessary in our society for people to look forward to something & feel good about themselves. It makes them feel happy 

So a short story to help you nice people get in the mood & figure this simple complexity...

A 40 year old “GIRL” had her birthday coming up. Now she has much going on in her life, she is successful, travelled the world, been there done that... Doesn’t care about anything my A#$

She plans her birthday a month in advance, she starts telling everyone she meets - her friends, colleagues, neighbours about the bash! Now the fact is that she is doing this for many reasons while she celebrates & the primary reason remains to feel good about herself, get attention maybe a little show off too. Why not she deserves to have fun! She has to also feel young because at this age the most crucial thing is to get compliments from everyone that you still look like you are out of college... She goes to the salon(does her hair, makeup), takes care of her diet, exercises & tries to remain the Barbie doll that she is. She would give anything to go back in time & look young, The relationship that a women has with her grooming regime is incredible. You can’t even imagine, from beauty to wardrobe, Hell comfort has been replaced with High Heels! All those hours adding up to days for getting ready to receive the priceless compliment “You look beautiful” All this for the love of looking young! Today most women do look younger because they love themselves & give a F about it!

So to speak “She is getting away with murder with the hidden secret because She broadcasts that she is 30. She has a long relationship with her confidence & determination.

She is the new trend setter & has influenced the world how to love yourself & shine!

& no better way but by a sense of accomplishment.
