Time is the most
important thing today! Lets go back in time maybe 20 years is a good round
number. Just like “Back to the Future” where Doc sent Marty McFly in a time
machine to travel back in time... Now what do we see? Picking it up from last
time - the most critical relationship which is your mobile phone! 20 years ago No
smart phone or apps existed, So just imagine no mobile phone which is the BFF
today was in nobodies hand. People were smiling talking to each other not busy
looking in their phones & used to find simple things to have a nice time
while Life was super slow, information used to travel on its pace not instantly
& when you had to meet someone then you used to give them a time &
place (landmark) near this, opposite that, around the corner & under a
freaking Mango tree kind of exhausting description which usually people wrote down
& carry that piece of paper in their pocket when they were supposed to reach
the destination. Surprisingly today it is effortless! You just reach the
destination which google takes care, while reaching you use whatsapp to ensure
you reach as per the delay expected from the other party so that no time is
wasted, as soon as you reach, hit dial to ask why the hell you can’t see the
person when you have reached exactly on 5:25 PM which was the time when both of
you had agreed & waiting for another moment is unacceptable... Isn’t that
true our tolerance to wait has vanished & time travel makes this part
fascinating. For the love of time...
Doc sends Marty Mcfly for
a mission to the future in the time machine, the flux capacitor generating 1.21 gigawatts of power to make the DeLorean travel through time - the time travel is from 1985 to 2019,
Marty arrives @ Gateway of India Bombay opening the door to his mean DeLorean,
Walking in the humidity he comes across many girls posing with a pout taking selfies
infront of the Taj hotel, he was like WTF is wrong with these people. Some were
even glued to the device in their hand which were showing content of pictures...
Nobody cared about the person next to them or anyone around. It was weird that
stupid is normal now! Earlier if everyone made a pout & stood in the middle
of the road to click pictures they would be called stupid. Then they would be
called stupid now we call them Selfie queens. Haven’t you seen there are
warning signs reading out “look at the road don’t take selfies” on the beach “no
selfie spots” so that you don’t drown... So the things we do for the Love of
Selfies!
Lets take Beards for
instance, remember when Shahid Kapoor entered the industry he was clean shaved
vs today every woman love guys in a beard & if it a celebrity then he wouldn’t
want to shave it off because it looks good on him. That time his relation with
his beard was as bad as someone calling him DevDas, I personally keep a beard
& I remember over a decade ago if you had a beard you were asked if
everything was fine or if you are under the weather... It was like something is
wrong with you! My relation with my beard is plutonic! It makes me feel
masculine, confident & mature. For men the beard makes them stand out from
the boys. So a Man’s relationship with the beard is more important than anything
in this world, God forbid the razor touches our perfectly shaped beards! All the
stylists at the salon know that beards are to be worshipped. Can you believe
that beards are so important that it makes the world go round... Due to drop in
shaving the biggest giant Gillette had
taken out a campaign a few years back to encourage shaving, they handpicked the
most sexy models (Malaika Arora, Neha Dhupia) to say that clean shave is what
they look for in a Man when they kiss them, like really haha... all those same
models are with guys who have beards today!!! Damn check yesterday’s new paper even
George Clooney started keeping a beard, Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) & you
know what everyone even guys love them! Then we used to call it DevDas now it
is called fashion. Men & women both love beards & we can’t live without
it now.
For the Love of Beards!
So if you come to
think of it people in every age build relations with something new to them or
may I say that change is always good! Sometimes you like beards sometimes you
hate them. Try to find the reason what makes you smile!
I will keep writing for
the Love & relationships with everything that exists...
Cheers
