I backpacked, I saw, I fell in love

If I stay a few more days

I will live a few more years

 

It is unheard of - you land like a Millionaire while leaving with priceless memories.

You feel more richer coming out than going in

Its like the boulevard of cocktails & hope, you feel so liberated & free

I saw it written in bright Red “Hot singles” haha that was a Food delivery AD

Jaded at the Bangkok airport layover, while I started thinking about all I did,

Bibbity bobbity booo… before I knew it, I was writing for you good folks

back to my day job! I was doing ok yesterday, Great fun today. Don’t worry about tomorrow

I must do this, so that I can do all that…

This spot is wining hearts, Stepped into the Pulsating Hanoi, cycling myself through the enchanting Hoi An… Hoppin around the charming DaNang & Hue

My last leg out from the Bustling Ho Chi Minh or what we love to call SaiGon

All the way to the Ancient God City of Cambodia

Lets get this party started, Taking the road less travelled, moving my way South I met many people… bunch of Americans, Australians, French & loads from the UK… no prizes for guessing why. Interestingly a few from South Korea for many reasons that one can find when you dig into the past Mmhmmm

Met many backpackers, over friendlies, travel junkies, saw smokin balloons, its v hush hush

Vietnamese love the Dragon; I know where GOT got its inspiration from.

Treat to the eyes

Vacation to the mind

Rejuvenating to the body

Exotic me in the foreign land, taught a girl how to skateboard. You meet so many new people from different cultures & walks of life, nice as well as warm locals. Really friendly people

Neighbors, passerby, everyone must dance to the music even if they don’t want. Super fun

Everyone loves my beard, coz they got none haha

You think you’ve seen it all, but then you visit BaNa Hill. Boy oh boy you are stunned

Taking the cable car… damn that was fast from 30 degrees to 15 degrees in a few minutes. Take off from the Tropical Island & land on a True European Hilltop

Best Top Dollars I ever spent, for the lack of better words Amazed & Mesmerized

Anyhoo the S shaped coastal country along with Siem Reap was out of this world but still on planet Earth

 

Set out as an Explorer, not as much as the first, but definitely more to come in the last

while the guys driving Grab are selling everything but a ride, its one thing to ride, well let’s just say they got it all wrong

Not a big fan of air Jordan anymore, do you still have to ask me why

This place is a ubiquitous copy of everything

 

Planning this trip just happened when I was listening to Van Helen scream “you really got me”

I will take it how it meant & not how it sounded

Its Epic to Backpack the Exotic lands of South East Asia… Solo travel in this part of the world is like - Things I never saw with people I never meet

There are 3 kind of backpackers – those who never go home, those who have 1 Month visa but can’t get enough & those who just have no clue what’s next

Sometimes on a journey all you need are helpful people & wifi

 

I made a Danish Pal, who had Flag tattoos of all the countries he ever visited, these Flags were everywhere, I mean right from his arm that go all the way… all the way… all the way to his ass… well that’s what he told me Duuu

I tell them what they want to here & so that’s how it goes - you know there’s a saying in Denmark

“When it rains on the Priest

it drips on the choirboys”

just can’t shake it

All dressed at a wedding party, in the last 5 seconds got 10 proposals for marriage

It was like the six degrees of separation

Aunties had so much ammo that they were locked, loaded & ready to fire

I knew right then that this will be an all nighter

You see a familiar face… but here it was different, not just aunties know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy

Nah they just knew everyone, they owned the laws of connection

 

My narrative or yours

Lets call it a Gulabi after party

So it goes something like this… she said & she said…

I don’t want to be your last option,

I want to be your first choice

I was like what? She said: WRT spending time

 

& According to Aunty, this was the Match made in Heaven

But then She said: those 3 words & left the building

This story is about the Socials & what they tell you to do or buy or wear or stick to your whatever

The fun fact is, these influencers who you call friends or think they are your friends are doing nothing but selling something which they wouldn’t even buy themselves in the first place, not because they get them for free but because they just make money off endorsements

 

While the Sick Sneakers worth 100,000 bucks still visit me in my dreams

While the nightmare that followed me out of my dreams

& The Co Sneaker Head gets accused of running Huge Air Jordan Ponzi scheme

You can argue if they are even real, haha not the poses from behind but the things they so generously promote… we are talking fake selling by these so-called celebs

When he sets his mind on copying me then there is no talking him out of it…

Don’t get me wrong but I thought we will never see each other again, atleast in those sneakers

But yet again he was wearing the same colour Tee

 

The next thing I know

This dude even poses like me…

I have my best side & he has his Terrifying side

A Night, A Game, everything, I mean everything

Everything he does is by design, nothing matters like I never was an inspiration haha right & I was born yesterday, funny thing is that he pretends that he is an Original & has been doing it since he was born. Perfect!

 

But the fun fact is that he still doesn’t look, talk or walk anywhere even close to me
